Our approach: no tracking cookies

Vidi is designed to work without third-party tracking cookies and without cross-site advertising trackers. We do not sell data and we do not run third-party ads.

What we store on your device

• Strictly necessary (no consent banner required):
  • Authentication session (keeps you signed in; session/until logout).
  • localStorage app state (your study progress, preferences, offline content (PWA); until you clear it or delete your account).
  • Security / CSRF tokens (protects forms and sessions; session).
• Analytics (privacy-friendly): We use cookie-less analytics — aggregated, non-identifying usage measurement without personal tracking cookies. Because no tracking cookies are set, no cookie consent banner is shown.

Third parties

If we add embedded third-party content that sets its own storage (e.g., payment provider at checkout), that provider's notice applies at that point, and we will update this notice first.

Your control

You can clear site data anytime in your browser settings; note this will sign you out and remove locally stored progress that hasn't synced. Deleting your account removes server-side data per the Privacy Policy.

Changes

Material changes to this notice will be posted here before they take effect.
